About Us:
- We are a small kennel located in Washington state
- We run our kennel with honesty and integrity
- We strive to provide a positive image of the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT).
We do so by:
- Promoting responsible ownership
- Supporting the American Dog Breeders Association(ADBA)
- Supporting the Endangered Breed Association(EBA)
- Educating the public
- Participating in events that shine a positive light on this great breed
- Only having select breedings occur. We will not breed dogs just to produce
and sell puppies
- We do not sell dogs to anyone under the age of 21.
We Believe:
- The traditional true APBT must have:
- Intelligence
- Stable temperament
- Proper conformation
- A willingness to give all
- That to deny the history of these dogs is to deny yourself a true understanding
of the breed.
- The APBT is not for everyone
We Guarantee:
- Our dogs/pups will be up to date on all shots and wormings.
- That our dogs/pups are healthy and free of internal and external parasites.
- If your puppy from us is diagnosed with any problems we will consult with a vet
for verification and replace your pup as soon as one is available provided it
comes back to us healthy and not mistreated or abused. Irresponsible owners
who do not properly care for their dogs will not get a replacement pup nor will
they ever receive another pup from us.
- We do NOT certify hips or elbows. These are a terrier type breed and do not
typically encounter problems associated with larger breed dogs.
Incentives:
- Part of our efforts to provide a positive image of the APBT and promote
responsible ownership is having the following incentives for people who
purchase a puppy from us:
- If you campaign a puppy purchased from Dakati Kennels to a "Champion"
title in conformation, and Dakati Kennels is properly credited as the
breeder, you will be entitled to a free puppy for your good work.
- If you campaign a puppy purchased from Dakati Kennels to an "Ace" title
in weight pull, and Dakati Kennels is properly credited as the breeder, you
will be entitled to a free puppy for your good work.
